And that marks the end of my time teaching in Dubai. I had met the best people, worked with the best colleagues and taught the best students. I will be back to visit but for now we pack everything up and get ready for our big travel plans. Next stop - Japan

Two weeks down as my first year as a grade leader to the “worst grade in the school”. Am I insanely busy? Yes. Am I making a difference and showing love where I can? Of course ♥️

U13 league champions!!!! So proud of these girls, they are amazing teammates and even better friends. The hard work has been clear in their game play and their improvements. Well done girls, I’m super proud ♥️🏆

Another year another camp. Looking forward to a change this year, although I will miss Hatta ♥️ bring on Al Ain and grade 7 🌊

First year of teaching in Dubai complete ✅ not only has it flown by but I have learnt so much in such a small space of time ♥️ now to enjoy an amazing summer of travelling with some of my favourite people ✈️

Last game of the season for my U16’s today. They have been amazing at every game and even manged to bag a win last week with only 6 players after an injury in the first quarter. Let’s finish strong girls 💪🏼

Survived my first DSIB inspection this week, so of course this weekend has been spent celebrating and relaxing 🎉🧘‍♀️

The rain began during our period 8 athletics lesson with grade 9 girls. It’s only expected that we had a dance party in the middle of the field ☔️

First netball fixture of the term and it was a win for the U16B’s. Such a good game with a super nice school, it’s good to be playing games again
