Yesterday, the children created their own dragons using air dry clay. They had made lots of notes and drawn sketches in their scrap books and are using those to design their fire-breathing beast! #STMEnglish#STMArt#STMDT
Fun in the snow this afternoon! The children loved exploring the texture of the snow and trying to build a snowman on the playground. We can’t stay out too long, it’s freezing 🥶 temperatures! #STM
Yesterday, the children made Egyptian amulets with the malleable resource, salt-dough. They were put into the oven to cook ready to be decorated 🙂 #ArtSTM
We have been discussing the Annunciation of Mary in Religion. The children have been searching in the Bible, the Gospels of Matthew, Mark , Luke and John for scripture relating to this wondrous moment. #Biblestudies#ReligionSTM
All the children were enjoying the hot seat this morning. They were in the mind of the great archaeologist Howard Carter. The children asked him many interesting questions. #EnglishSTM
Today, we learned how to draw a scarab beetle from the ancient Egyptian times. The children used teabags to create old-style parchment. The end results looked incredible and the children even wrote on it in hieroglyphics 👏 #STMart#STMtopic
Yesterday we held our annual reindeer run to raise money for Spring Hill hospice 🥰 the children had great fun- even though the weather was horrid. #STM#Springhillhospice

What is a solid and what is a liquid? The children discovered oobleck today. A very strange substance which perfectly highlights the changing states of matter. The children had great fun whilst learning 😌 #ScienceSTM
Yesterday we celebrated World Kindness Day. The class did lots of oracy work around the importance of spreading kindness. Each child also created a card, for one of their peers to take home to make them feel special. #WorldKindnessDay#STMLaudatosi
The children were labelling the bones in the human body by drawing around each other and writing them in the correct place. Learning outside the classroom is great. #STMScience
Year three and four are testing out their agility skills by enjoying a game of tag rugby. The children laughed a lot throughout this game. What fun they had. #STMPE
Can we find human and physical features in our local area? The children really enjoyed making discoveries out in the playground and on the field. It sparked lots of wonderful conversation and the children liked showing each other what they had found back in class #TopicSTM
