The source of a happy life is within us. Troublemakers in many parts of the world are often quite well-educated, so it is not just education that we need. What we need is to pay attention to inner values.
Today is #InternationalTransDayOfVisibility
Everyone has the right to be who they want to be. Look the way they want to look. Love who they want to love. Human rights are for every single person on the planet. Trans rights are human rights. I support you and love you all.
On Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate transgender, non-binary and Two Spirit people in our families, communities and workplaces. To all the trans people who are our friends, family and community members: we see you, honour you and stand with you. https://t.co/aNCfKlliTI
Something I had to learn through years of therapy after a terrible breakup was just because you know the source of the abuse does not excuse the abuser.
If they aren't willing to put in the work to fix it, you're not a bad person for walking away.
Transgender and non-binary Canadians: You matter. Your lives matter. And we’ll keep working – on #TransDayOfVisibility and every day – to make sure you can live your life as your true and authentic self. You deserve nothing less than that. 🏳️⚧️
On this Transgender Day of Visibility, Michelle and I want every trans person in America—and around the world—to know that we see you and we stand with you. Every LGBTQIA+ person deserves to feel safe and protected.
