If you understand that:
People are more driven to avoid pain than to seek pleasure.
You will understand that:
Women invest more when there's a chance of losing you than when you're a sure thing.
Give people the gift of ambiguity.
Thanks for the movie recommendations. ''Somewhat different in terms of vibes but with great depth of characters and rich in social commentary.'' is very much what I look for .
'Secrets and lies' looks intriguing from the quick google search I just did. I love movies but I don't often give myself the luxury of watching them. I keep them for treat days :)
Writing a book series is a huge accomplishment - I have my fingers crossed for you if you ever decide to go down that path. With todayโs technology, you donโt even need to write or type (if thatโs a barrier due to dyslexia).
For example, I didnโt write this message- I spoke it, and the software on my laptop transcribed it for me. Itโs called Wispr Flow and it's free.
Thanks for the chat and hope we'll be seeing that book series sometime in the future.

@notable_tomes@AlexAndBooks_ I'm currently reading Crime and Punishment.
I'm on the gospel reading scene right now.
I wouldn't say it's my favourite book ever but I have a third more to go so let's see how I feel about it when I finish.
@Zombielooville@winterduck04 I just saw a Wuthering Heights movie was released last week.
So vastly different to the novel.
Oh god. Awful. Why?
Now I understand why you mentioned the power dynamics...
Nope, none of this in the novel.
Not the actor, I meant the book character.
I've yet to watch the movie. Do you recommend it?
I see what you're getting at with power dynamics. .. Althought I had the feeling Heathcliff turned cruel. Was he interested in winning Cathy back towards the end? I don't recall.
Also, the book and the movie version could be slightly different.
Iโm still wearing my โฌ1 wedding ring because we never got around to buying the real ones.
It matters so little to me that, honestly, I sometimes wonder if somethingโs wrong with me.
And every time I breathe a sigh of relief that running around shops ranks so low on my priority list, I remember I can focus on what matters most: learning how to become a person who can both serve and be served in her marriage.
As for the rings, there will always be time to upgrade-if we decide to.
