P5 had a wonderful World Book Day last week. We heard from 3 different story tellers, visited the book swap cafe, completed a book scavenger hunt, took part in a quiz and made our own books! 📚❤️

Last week p5 and p5/6 @MrCarney7 renacted Galileo’s Gravity experiment, we dropped objects from the same height and learned that gravity causes objects of different sizes to fall at the same speed! 🍅⏱️ @Greenbraeschool

P5 did an amazing job sketching during Art with Miss Thomas this week. They were exploring texture, tone and gradient. 🎨✏️

P5 have been working super hard learning to multiply a single digit by two digit numbers this week. They got particularly excited when I let them write their answers on the tables!! 🤣✖️

P5 and P5/6 were extremely lucky to have a visit from Sarah Peacock, an extremely talented local artist, yesterday. She told us about what inspires her and showed us lots of her wonderful work. Both classes were completely in awe of her! 🎨👏🏼@MrCarney7

I am absolutely bursting with pride after the p7s panto Cinderella & Rockerfella today. The acting and singing was fabulous, they all did an amazing job and their hard work certainly paid off! 🎭🎤

Our Leavers gift to the p7s seemed to go down well yesterday. A great afternoon love watching Wonder and eating pizza! 🍕😃

P7 @Greenbraeschool were treated to a pizza party this afternoon after a successful dress rehearsal🥳😋🍕all of their hard work paid off this morning when their leavers show came together nicely. Well done everyone👏🏼👏🏼 @MissForster11

After a fun morning we all enjoyed some well deserved pizza and juice. 🍕 In the afternoon we had a go on the Go-Karts and then played Lazer Tag. Some of the children certainly seem to have a need for speed!! 🚨🏎 @miss_harcus_ @Greenbraeschool

On Tuesday we had the BEST day at Cadonas! In the morning we went bowling, played mini golf and had a go on the dodgems. It was great to see the children all having fun with their friends.🏌️🚘 @miss_harcus_ @Greenbraeschool

Day 4 of our P7 actuvities week kicked off with a sunny walk to @CREMACREMA for an ice cream😎🍦 the service was fantastic and the ice cream was even better!! Thanks for having us!😁 @Greenbraeschool @MissForster11
