This week P5/6 @Greenbraeschool have been learning about different habitats and the animals that live there. We have also took part in a mapping activity where we identified different deserts and rainforests on the world map.

P5/6 @Greenbraeschool have been developing their measuring skills. Today we created scale models showing the distances between the planets of our solar system.

This week P5/6 @Greenbraeschool have been learning about different classifications of animals. We took part in a range of activities to aid our understanding of producers, consumers and decomposers.

P5/6 @Greenbraeschool developed their understanding of length and units of measurement today. Then we took part in a range of practical measurement tasks.

After learning about what plants need to grow P5 @MissForster11 and P5/6 @Greenbraeschool spent the afternoon preparing our raised beds and planting a range of vegetables.

We had a lovely day in P5/6 @Greenbraeschool today, rounded off by 2 of our learners teaching the class how to use Scratch.

P5/6 @Greenbraeschool enjoyed their badminton lesson today. We developed our control of the shuttle through a range of activities.

Today we have been introducing the grid method of multiplication to our P5/6 class @Greenbraeschool. I’m so proud of today’s STEM Jedi for creating the lesson and allowing the other children to demonstrate their learning on whiteboards.😊
