Positive choice of language makes a big different in communication. In year 2 we have been practicing how we talk to our friends without hurting their feelings. This is a great visual to support those conversations. #acuedu_p

Today all department schools took part in a state wide PL about First Nation students and how we can better their school experience and our teaching to support learners through PLPs. I found it very engaging and supportive especially as a beginning teacher! #acuedu_p

I think this is such an important message and reminds me of what I heard on one of my placements. You cannot force kids to be friends but you do need to let them understand that we do have to show our respects even if there are differences #acuedu_p ☺️❤️
