@DrLevsky (( Levsky's been an amazing part of the cabal. She brought a fun and inimitable dynamic to the meetings, which made it that much harder to decide to close up shop for the time being.
Her taking on a leadership role in the latest plot was very much appreciated as well. ))
@KlausvonRichter@DrLevsky (( He's the one in the middle, though a certain other character in the picture recently kicked his ass and claimed his beloved top hat as a trophy. ))
@KlausvonRichter (( It was awesome having both you and Angelique involved in the various plot shenanigans!
And fortunately FFXIV has a world visiting system now, so you could pop over with a character from Balmung or any other server in the datacenter. ))
(( Having wrapped up our latest plot from the mind of the awesome @NewCityNovels, I'm sad to announce that the weekly RP gatherings of the Winged cabal are being discontinued for now. While some of us are still kicking around in game, we're no longer collectively "active". ))
@thamynadamus (( A few of us are still kicking around in game! But without the plots and meetings, we can't really claim to be "active" as a cabal anymore.
Hoping SWL gets some update love eventually. Being a grizzled vet from the early days of TSW, I can only repeat content so much. π ))
(( For now, most of the cabal is in Final Fantasy XIV, having formed the Β«OasisΒ» adventuring company on the Mateus server. For anyone who plays, our company house is in Goblet ward 20, plot 19 and our meetings are Fridays at 9pm EST, if you'd like to drop by and say hello! ))
(( I'd like to thank everyone who has remained involved for all this time, cooking up fun things to do and keeping the fire burning during what has been a very long content drought on Funcom's part. Should SWL see another major content update, we may be back in the future. ))
Another Akan proverb: "antelopes walk together to blow dust from each other's eyes."
Sometimes we grapple with problems where the solution feels impossibly out of reach. Through cooperation and collaboration, we help each other see the path through the dark.

A favorite Akan proverb of mine: "knowledge is like a baobab tree; no single person can grasp it fully."
Every week I'm reminded that for all the Secret World's powers, nothing breaches the shadow of the unknown quite like a diverse and dedicated team.

The Sankofa is an important icon for the Winged, and its meaning complements the spirit of Thanksgiving.
To every member and friend of our merry band of history-minded heroes, I'm proud of you and greatly thankful for your commitment, cleverness and company.

@AmeliArtshadow Some days, my work feels thankless and hopelessly unmanageable. You make everything feel okay again.
These photos are always lovely, though the photographer is even more so.
This is your biannual reminder that The Winged continue to exist!
Though we keep a low profile, we're a stalwart bunch dedicated to the preservation of Secret World history. Seek us out if interested!

@AmeliArtshadow I know there's no possible way for me to make this determination without bias, but this is my favorite photo in your collection.
Not just for the obvious reason. The color, light and angle are beautiful.
Tonight I abused Agartha travel to assist in the retrieval of nineteen pounds of greasy fast food, the agreed-upon payment for a friend's mercenary giantess girlfriend.
My job sometimes makes strange demands of me.
@halolunayay @AmeliArtshadow@TheFunIsOn I know how you feel. Having been inside a KFC, I've decided that anyone who eats there is disqualified from making grossed-out faces when I mention my preferred soft drink. Glass houses and all.
@AmeliArtshadow@TheFunIsOn Looking at this again, considering some of yesterday's meeting discussion, should we be concerned about that figure behind us?
Heading to Ockham's Razor and Mabli Mire's before tonight's meeting.
I've done my best to look more casual and modern in recent months, but sometimes old habits die hard.
