@Alison80961798 @drunkphilM @Nathanashman It’s got nothing to do with bullying or anything it’s simply as I’ve stated I would like a mentor who looks like me to help guide me, I’m not saying a White woman couldn’t do that but there experiences are likely to be different, there is research to back this up

@smurph1905 @drunkphilM @Nathanashman There’s nothing to miss it’s as simple as those who are Black, Asian or (BME) as some like to refer to them have different experiences in the work environment, I want a mentor who can help me with the next steps of my career and guide me also give me some first hand experiences

@drunkphilM @Nathanashman The main reason as to why I have asked specifically for a Black female is because I want someone who has been through a similar journey and experiences that I would like to go through, it would be different for a white teacher as their experiences would be different
