Survived the first 8 weeks and what an 8 weeks it has been! My eyes have truely been opened to being a real teacher! Despite it being hard and sluggish on some days the reward is HUGE! Roll on half term and a big glass of gin! Congrats to others finishing their first half term 🙌🏽

Not had a washing machine for nearly 2 weeks, neither the landlord or property management are doing much about it! I just get “we are chasing it”. All very well but my partner is a front line NHS worker who now has no scrubs to wear because we have been unable to wash them 🤬😤😡

Let's say an NQT is struggling, towards end of term 1, giving it everything, hours of work. Don't get a thanks, a well done, positive feedback, just intense scrutiny - all the time. Little development. Feel like they are bad at the job.

This is why the profession is shrinking.
