School boards and districts, never underestimate the importance of encouraging your school leaders. When they feel supported and appreciated, there's energy that the whole school feeds off.
Administrators who are unsuccessful, are so because they don't make relationships & staff morale a priority. Even if you didn't need a pat on the back doesn't mean it's not effective. Support, encourage, and appreciate your staff. Affirmation is powerful.

The primary goal in addressing a discipline issue should be to prevent future misbehavior, not to prove whoโs in charge, not to prove whoโs right, not to gain the upper hand. Always strive to protect the relationship and use mistakes as learning opportunities.

Since I got the flu over break I wasnโt able to get as much done as I had hoped. But, I canโt lie.. I am pretty excited to see all of my kiddos tomorrow and get their lilโ hugs again!! I've missed them!!
We continued the celebration of Dr. Adler receiving the Nebraska Superintendent of the Year Award at Mondayโs Board of Education meeting. Ralston Mayor Don Groesser read a proclamation from the city in recognition of Dr. Adler receiving this great honor.
