We had a blast at our Summer STEM Camp, but today is the last day of learning and fun. From a trip to Mars to building our own zoo, the campers had a great time in June. Only 59 days until we are back in school. Have a great summer break.

Today, the fourth and fifth grade classes traveled via bus to Austin to visit the sights and sounds of the capitol building.

Enginneering week fun! 4th grade was given a challenge to build the tallest structure using only marshmallows and toothpicks. Their structure had to survive a 15 second “earthquake”. The winning group in this class had a 12 1/2 inch tall structure 😎 @REDSTEM_Magnet

Fourth grade went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science yesterday for our field trip. They had fun at the planetarium learning about space, they participated in a mixtures and solutions lab and they got a tour around the museum.

Red has earned an “A” rating from TEA for the student progress achieved last school year. We earned 5 out 6 distinctions missing Science. Our goal for this year is to maintain our “A” Rating, but in all distinctions.
