I'm an #ActuallyAutistic writer, artist, and advocate. I co-run the Autism Living Wiki and write on Wattpad. Inactive because I support trans people. She/her
I'm no longer active here. I support trans rights and not far-right ideologies.
One of my latest projects is the Autism Living Wiki, which offers info to support autistic people and those who care about us. Check it out!

Well, the red flags of Twitter starting a transformation into a far-right "free speech" cesspool of abuse and harassment towards women/minorities are piling up.
I'll keep an eye on the news, but anyway, here's my blog:

@mrbobodenkirk If you'd like to help autistic people, no donation is better than a donation to Autism Speaks.
Of course, it does sound like you've found other groups that help more than they harm. I'd encourage you to focus on groups that autistic people like instead of ones we say are hurting
@mrbobodenkirk It's understandable you wouldn't notice. They're doing their best to put on sheep's clothing and pretend to be one of the good ones.
But they're still out there comparing autism to cancer, talking over autistic voices, and cozying up to pseudoscience.

We encourage AAC users to take this survey about what words you prefer when talking about #AAC and the people that use it. A member of CommunicationFIRST's Advisory Council, Alyssa Hillary Zisk, helped develop it. https://t.co/DjrNnzoMmj
@JenniAgitator@NeuroClastic Well, now we get to have the fun (/s) argument of "is it worse to risk autism or risk death by polio"
I don't think I'm better off dead, thanks.
@BlackAutistics FYI, you're signal boosting a blog that claims that autistic people "don't know how" to tell lies and that vaccines can cause autism: https://t.co/UlpLi6vyP1
There's a lot of pseudoscience too. I'm guessing you didn't know this.
