Spring has arrived in our nursery ๐ธ๐ฃ
Weโve been learning all about new life and were so excited to come in and find our chicks had hatched! Such a magical experience for the children #AmbitiousCurriculum
The beans nursery planted have shot up! Being a part of the process has really helped them understand the life cycle of a plant. And what they need to grow ๐ฑ#AmbitiousCurriculum
Nursery have just loved the process of caring for the eggs, counting down the days until they hatch and watching them grow in chicks ๐ฃ #AmbitiousCurriculum
This week in maths nursery have been ordering objects from shortest to tallest. This little superstar took it upon himself to take what he had learned outside โญ๏ธ #AmbitiousCurriculum
Today we experimented with water by using guttering as a ramp for the water to travel down. We used lots of words like heavy, full, empty, fast and slow. An activity filled with such rich vocabulary! #AmbitiousCurriculum@missstantony5
This week we are fasting from complaining and feasting on kindness, so nursery made a kindness chain with all the ways in which we have been kind to one another this week ๐ซถ#ChristAtTheCentre
Can you โguess the mummyโ?
Nursery drew pictures of their mums for Motherโs Day. We displayed them on our door to see if our mum could guess which one was hers! #AmbitiousCurriculum
Today in nursery we explored the wind using balloons ๐
The children held balloons and watched how the wind pushed, pulled and carried them #AmbitiousCurriculum
What a fantastic start we made in the first Gardening Club session of 2026 ๐ฑ. The children decorated the polytunel and planted corn and runner beans seeds. #AmbitiousCurriculum
Thank you very much!!! @MissMiller_EYFS@StAmbroseSpeke
Natan had a big surprise today. This award means a lot to him and it brings a smile to him face. ๐We are very proud of him๐โค๏ธ. We know he worked hard for it.โค๏ธ
It was wonderful to have year 6 visit us in Nursery and read stories to the children! We found some great spots in our outdoor area to get comfy and read! #EveryChildAReader#WorldBookDay2026
Exciting news! Our incubator has arrived and the children are buzzing with curiosity. Weโre learning all about caring for eggs & watching closely for signs of hatching. Wonderful rich conversations and hands-on learning #AmbitiousCurriculum@MissStantonY5_
