@mjptranslator I think most teachers have been through/are going through this and can sympathise with you ❤️ Just keep turning up and doing your best for them- it will make more of a difference than you realise at the time! Well done for sticking at it!
Incredibly excited to formally launch the #CogSciSci website!
Featuring resources, online learning modules, practitioner blog posts, book reviews and more, it's a one-stop-shop for the thinking science teacher. Please read, explore and share widely.

If a woman had acted like this she would have been branded hysterical, unprofessional or over emotional. Slamming your hands, shouting at someone and prefacing an argument with ‘woman’ is not debate. Well done Caroline on maintaining your composure.
Few weeks into ‘stricter’ behaviour policy and my new class of kids who were constantly truanting/getting detentions are actually a pleasure to teach. I’m getting excited before their lessons & they’re getting excited about the quality of work they’re producing ❤️ #smallmiracles
@mssfax After under half a term of a similar change in behaviour policy I can already see some of the benefits you mentioned- excited for what’s to come for our children! They deserve the best we can give them ❤️
@Miss_Snuffy I have visited your school and I believe it works miracles- the whole time I was observing I was thinking I wish I was a child again so I could attend! Holding children to a high standard is a great kindness and something that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
The great pediatrician T. Berry Brazeleton used to say the same thing. Children want boundaries because, although they cannot articulate it, the thought they *they* are in charge frightens them. They know they shouldn't be in charge.
I have now finished all 8 chemistry required practicals including the triple only content. Methods, summaries, explanations and well over 300 practice questions - please share!
