@adamboxer1 In my training year I had to plan everything to the minute, and during the lesson the observer would write on my lesson plan how many minutes each thing took and if I was even a minute out on an activity I'd be penalised 🙃 I can't think of anything more ridiculous.
@VerandaThought@RogersHistory I'm 5 months post partum and I feel this so much! Thank you for putting it into words, it's such a tough thing to go through
@RogersHistory My line manager and I work hard to ensure everyone in the dept has a balanced timetable - variety of high/low prior attaining groups and boy/girl classes split with mix KS3 and KS4 so it's fair for all! I had a really tricky TT as an NQT, it was really rough
@Headteacherchat As a secondary teacher we only tend to get gifts occasionally and usually from the children themselves. I appreciate the chocolate! Had a bottle of prosecco one year though 😁
Welcome to the world little man! So excited to be on this journey. Also, if anyone has advice about how to function on no sleep, hit me up 😅 #newborn#newparent
@WhistleblowingT As a HoD that's really poor staff management! Have they tried at least being constructive and giving you concrete action points? Speak with your mentor and ITT lead as well as dept line manager to work forward. Sorry you're getting this, and hope it resolves!
@LAshford5 God I hope so, 2 weeks and 3 days until due date and I'm so ready to have this baby out of me! We should do meet ups when we're all ready ❤️
@WhistleblowingT I had a horrible timetable last year where I had a PPA final period on a Tuesday, then didn't have another one until final period the following Tuesday (and this is as a HoD). It was tough!
Congratulations, what an incredible achievement!
