I had never asked the student why she kept her camera off every day until today. Just worked to build trust and be accepting. I would never have guessed, and if I had expressed annoyance, I would have never learned.
Today I received an email from a parent. She wanted to bag on one of our folks.
She wrote: “Everytime I talk to your staff member, I feel better about my daughter’s future.”
That freakin’ fired me up! Educators don’t just make a difference for kids: they matter to parents too!

Today I got my hands in some soil and it was so therapeutic 🥰 this is the first plant that I have not killed, so naturally this was my first time dividing a thriving plant into 2 pots. I feel an addiction forming 🌱💦
AND as if that’s not bad enough I cut some of my own plant to see if it will grow roots too 🤪 maybe I’m a little farther down the path to addiction than I thought??
