Big thank you to Margaret and Mo @GuardianEdu Y12 Media students @AlpertonCS had a great time making their front pages. They were kept engaged throughout the session, working to tight deadlines as journalists, editors and copy writers.
@MargaretHolborn @gdn_foundation Thanks so much for the Opinion Writing workshop this week. It was a great way to end the term and you really engaged the @AlpertonCS media studies students. Looking forward to reading their articles in the new year!
Thanks to @intofilm_edu for putting on the tenth film festival! @AlpertonCS students enjoy the experience every year. Mixed reviews about the screening of Polite Society - we like it when students have their own opinions! Appreciated the talk by the @BBFC too.
@cineworld A charming, beautiful and humorous British indie film. Enjoyed watching the father daughter relationship unfold.
Glad I got to watch this as it's unlikely to be shown in my local once released. It would be great if Cineworld showed more indie films.
@cineworld why is Wes Anderson's Asteroid City going to be screened in so few London locations? Quite frustrating that both my local ones shy away from anything that's a bit "indie". I understand you cater to a demographic, but perhaps get some input from your local audiences.
@cineworld@DrStrangeLug With such a great director and star cast, it's odd that it's going to be screened in so few Cineworlds tomorrow. How did you come to the decision not to show it in more locations? Why don't you survey your members? 🤷🏽♀️
@cineworld Thanks for your quick response. How do I reach out to my local branches? Listings have become increasingly poor this year that I find myself having to travel much further to watch decent films, adding to the cost of my Unlimited membership.
Radishes from the @AlpertonCS school garden. Radish salad and the greens were used in the chana. Special thanks to Ms Ernastine for supporting the students with this project.
