A lovely full day spent with the Reception cohort of 2025/26. Lunchtime was wonderful, and all the children showed super independence when eating their dinner. The children took home a holiday news scrapbook, story to share at home, and a teddy. @LadywoodKH @MissPerryLW

This afternoon we have had our final discovery session with The University of Nottingham. @NottinghamUON

KS1 and reception also shared their goal for this half term and talked about the well throughout skills and steps they will need to help them achieve the goal. We talked about being brave, resilient, kind and proud. @LadywoodKH @MissPerryLW

We had a fantastic visit from the fire service this morning who explained what their role is and then answered our questions. We then went and visited the fire engine! @embarkfed @LadywoodKH

We had a great visit from Louise this morning who told us all about her role as a teacher for the deaf. We also learnt some signs and then used the alphabet to sign our names. @LadywoodKH @embarkfed

After our Ladywood general election @MissBentleyLW and SMART Schools Council were busy counting all the votes to see which Olympian got the most votes.

The winner with the most votes was Louis Martin! (1/2).
