House Deputy Speaker Paolo Ortega slammed the comment of Vice President Sara Duterte on the ongoing Senate leadership dispute, asserting that her political allies are at the forefront of the drama in the upper chamber.

"Ma’am VP, respectfully, parang mahirap sisihin ang Malacañang sa gulo ng Senado kung karamihan sa mga bida sa drama ay mga BFF at political allies mo rin. Baka before pointing fingers, check muna kung sino ang nasa group chat," he said.

This comes after Duterte pinned the blame on Malacañang, saying that the Senate conflict is a reflection of the leadership of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
