@carveresque @S69287383 @TeachingChap @Year6T @Mr_H_Primary @SteElleCity89 I played them the song, gave them the lyrics and then we spoke about what story she was telling and who the characters were and their feelings throughout the song. Then said they could write whatever they wanted out of what we had covered so far.

Help please! I’ve been asked to write a supporting letter for a child appealing their high school place - how long should it be? What do I need to include? Any help would be much appreciated!

@brassoteach Here’s the staff meeting we did the ideas we gave the staff! https://t.co/cFF9Igf4GD

[Hannah @MissR_LKS2]

@brassoteach The children absolutely loved it!! I could send you over the planning we did if you’d like?!

[Hannah @MissR_LKS2]

@brassoteach We did a whole school enquiry day based around chocolate!! All classes did all the enquiry types themed around chocolate. Some did the same and just recorded in different ways.

If you want the alleged:

holidays
great pay
finish at 3pm
easy working conditions
weekends and evenings off

then be a teacher yourself.

Theres a recruitment crisis, we need as many new people as we can get.

There’s loads of ways to get into it.

I’d be happy to help.

Teachers need a wage increase.

This shouldn't come at the expense of the education we deliver. If schools have to reduce what it offers, that is a fault of gov. There shouldn't be decrease in teachers living standards for pupils to get a good education.

Direct all anger at gov

[Ben Brown🔥 @EdRoundtables]

Dear parents, here's another thing the Tories aren't paying for which will affect your child's education. Yup, you've guessed it energy bills.
You are probably already worried about choosing whether to eat or heat but did you know that school energy bills aren't capped! 1/n

This is just the start….

[Hannah @MissR_LKS2]

@Miss_BTeacher When I started, it just helped me structure which bits to combine and where to extend the year 4s in my group should they be able to!

[Hannah @MissR_LKS2]

@Miss_BTeacher It takes a bit of getting used to but it is doable! White Rose do a mixed she scheme of work which might be worth looking over!

[Hannah @MissR_LKS2]

@Miss_BTeacher We stream! We’re lucky enough to have three classes per phase so have one group following year 3, one group following year 4 and then a mixed group which mainly follows year 3 and extends to the year 4, where relevant and appropriate for the children!
