@Mr_Minchin I tend to begin my lesson with a problem/sum that focuses on our learning but I offer a range of choices so that each child can choose one that ‘best fits’ them so they are all involved and can identify where they are in their learning #TGSS2020

Majority used split strategy for both addition and subtraction but didn’t quite understand what they were doing (some) especially when came to take away.

@MrAndrewTeacher I like this idea. As I feel like there is almost shame in using materials once you move up the school ( I don’t personally believe this)
