Today P3 & P2/3 went outdoors to find fallen leaves 🍂 We then drew around them and others had to match up the leaves to the correct drawings. We will continue to go oudoors to look for signs of autumn in the coming months! #outdoors @MissRaffertyCPS @CarmondeanP3

Today P3 & P2/3 went on a sound walk. We used beaters to make different sounds and described them. "Bang" "Jingle" "Clanging" and "Puffing" were some of the excellent adjectives we came up with. Not even the rain could stop us! 🌧 @CarmondeanP3 @MissRaffertyCPS #learningoutdoors

Primary 2/3 have been drawing their own Punch and Judy characters and transforming them into stick puppets. @MissRaffertyCPS

Primary 3 have been practising food prep and safety. We carefully chopped up root vegetables that are found on British farms and made them into a soup! @MissRaffertyCPS @MissSmithCPS

🏰P3 had a magnificent day at Edinburgh Castle and the sun was shining for it! We explored the prisons, watched the excitement of the 1 o'clock gun, saw Mons Meg and visited the oldest part of the castle St Margaret's Chapel, built in 1130! @MissRaffertyCPS @MissSmithCPS

Primary 3 are going to Edinburgh castle on Thursday. Can all children please wear their school uniform, a waterproof jacket, appropriate footwear and a backpack with their snack and lunch in it 🏰 @MissSmithCPS

Primary three had great fun today experiencing some of the games that would have been enjoyed during the Medieval Times. We played bowls, skittles, pick up bones (sticks today), chess and even had a go at juggling!

Primary 3 have some exciting events coming up! Our medieval banquet is on Monday and the children can dress up for it! 👸🏼🤴🏼We are also off to Edinburgh Castle on Thursday 30th March. The children have a pink permission slip to fill in and hand back 🏰⛓️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @MissSmithCPS

Primary 3 enjoyed the sunshine in outdoor learning. We created huge human clocks to show the time and created shadow art 👥⏰ #teamtuesday @MissRaffertyCPS
