Friday, Sept. 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as well as Orange Shirt Day.

Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange shirts.

Today, we wore purple and green in support of our Muslim families and friends and to stand up against Islamophobia. It brought tears to my eyes hearing the children speak about the fears they live with as a Muslim in our country. We need to do better Canada!
