A wasp flew into my Year 8 classroom today. It’s safe to say that poor Arthur Conan Doyle barely got a look in after Mr Wasp stole the show.

Taught my first ever lesson today 📚 a couple of wobbly moments in the lead up (a whole heap of nerves), but really enjoyed the whole experience when I was in there. Can’t believe this is really happening now!

First three days of teacher training done. Feeling all the emotions all at once (mainly exhaustion, but lots of excitement too).

P.S. I live on the floor of my bedroom now. Please bring tea and chocolate ☕️🍫

First inset day done ✅ feeling so excited and blessed to be working in such a supportive school. Everyone I met today offered words of encouragement, advice and offers of support. This year will be a challenge, but I can’t wait to step into the classroom #firstday #teaching

It has been a wonderful couple of weeks of learning, collaborating and practising at #attsummerschool. I have learned so much and loved every minute. Many thanks to all at @ArkTTonline for working so hard to deliver such a brilliant programme of sessions.
