@gulf_news I also purchased tickets for a holiday before Covid and have still not received my refund. We booked with Cleartrip as well. Can you help us?
In a profession where there’s always room for improvement, different strategies to help the diverse group of students in front of you, and a constant change in “best practice” it can be hard to feel like you’re doing a good job. #teaching#doingmybest
Students co-created a #centralidea for our #stp unit today. It was their first time doing this challenging task but they killed it! We looked at the #keyconcepts and brainstormed #relatedconcepts. Then connected two or three concepts into one enduring understanding. #g5#pyp
https://t.co/TJeLd0Mgvc What an interesting read about grading. “Students need to see us as coaches who help them reach their goals. When we are rating and sorting, the conflict of interest can hinder the teacher-student relationship.” -Also teacher-parent relationships!
Getting ready for back to school soon... gonna try this one for the first week. 👍🏻 Teaching Secrets: Get to Know Students Through Seating Challenges https://t.co/5GPRgZusPQ
@RonRitchhart My awesome PE teacher when in teachers college, said this and it was a 💡 moment. I remember saying how different I would have felt about PE class when I was young if my PE teacher thought this way.
@ms_fernweh@rssll80 Mine is ‘Thinker’. I love thinking deeply about scenarios and ideas and gathering information. Interesting... something to think about. :)
A special thank you to our Science teachers, who volunteered their time today in #g5. Students presented their #exhibition purpose and #conceptual questions in order to get feedback on how to push their thinking related to #science and #technology. #PYPx#HTWW
Interesting read! "...in education, where so much of the leadership is male and the vast majority of the employees are female, teachers may go along with unreasonable expectations because if they don’t, they risk being seen as uncaring." https://t.co/nVIC0vXWLy
#pypx team building day! Groups worked together to take on two different #designthinking challenges. First task: build a tin foil boat that can hold the most weight before sinking. #g5
Today, we got into large groups based on our passions. Then, we shared the personal, local, and global issues we are interested in exploring to form our #exhibition groups. #PYPX#g5 There was a lot of authentic and mature discussion happening to decide on groups.
