Our S4,5,6 finished off term 1 with an authentic flamenco experience at ARTA restaurant in Glasgow 🇪🇸💃🏼 it was the 1st time all of these pupils had seen a live flamenco show 🤩 a great cultural experience for everyone 😁 @SL_TrinityHS @scottishcilt

Today we celebrated #europeandayoflanguages 🇪🇺 We enjoyed lots of activities such as a music quiz, an escape room, European breakfast, making tortilla española (Spanish omelette), salsa dancing and many delicious treats 🍫🍰 We celebrated all the languages spoken at @SL_TrinityHS

S1 thoroughly enjoyed working on the chrome books and using Blooket to revise on numbers, birthdays and the weather 🇪🇸 much fun was had and it’s great to visually see learning being consolidated in such an exciting way 😁 ¡bien hecho a todos! @SL_TrinityHS @SL_THS_Spanish

A big '¡bienvenidos!' (welcome!) to all the Spanish fans arriving in Glasgow today for the big match at Celtic Park. Today, pupils had a taster of what it’s like to be a football interpreter by translating sections of the press conference from the UEFA website ⚽️🇪🇸 @SL_TrinityHS

I think it’s so important to challenge pupils who tell me AT is a role model. That simple question why? Has lead to lots of pupils stuck as to why he is a role model. When asked to justify and vocalise their views they have struggled.

This morning, we took our learning outdoors for some running dictation using @gianfrancocont9 sentence builders 😃🇪🇸 S2 showed some great teamwork and there were certainly some “caras rojas” with all the running 🥵 @_stcolumba @SClpl
