#gRAEtminds A11: collaboration and consistency! When everyone is on the same page and keeping the students best interest in mind the child will be set up for success in the classroom.

#gRAEtminds A12: I think it’s important to build a foundation of trust and comfort early on through encouragement and patience. Incorporating buddies, conversations with sentence stems and plenty of visuals will also help produce EL student learning.

#gRAEtminds WK2, A2: From day one I want to build a feeling of community within our classroom. We will generate our classroom expectations through brainstorming. I believe photographs/self portraits are a great way to make our classroom feel more like a home!
