This week, we learned about forces and motion. We rotated through science centers & explored how different toys move & what causes them to move at different speeds. Students explored with ramps (pool noodles) & marbles, race cars, hula hoops, & spinning tops!

The votes are in!! Homemade applesauce was a huge hit with (most of) these firsties & the perfect way to wrap up our apple unit! 🍎🍏💛

It’s only day 2, but these firsties are working hard! We put our number sense skills to the test with this “race the spinner” game. Students spun their fidget spinner & raced to answer all boxes before it stopped!

We continued our number sense unit with a new game — I Spy! Students worked together to compare numbers using task cards and a deck of playing cards! ♣️♦️ #WeAreStrongsville
