This week, we learned about forces and motion. We rotated through science centers & explored how different toys move & what causes them to move at different speeds. Students explored with ramps (pool noodles) & marbles, race cars, hula hoops, & spinning tops!
We wrapped up our History Unit with an Artifact Museum! Students got so creative selecting artifacts to share πThey shared their artifacts with students from K through 5th grade & staff members!
We spent all week working toward our read to self stamina goal & WE REACHED IT! (with teacher distractions!) π itβs amazing what some βgood fitβ books + lots of determination can do! π

Itβs only day 2, but these firsties are working hard! We put our number sense skills to the test with this βrace the spinnerβ game. Students spun their fidget spinner & raced to answer all boxes before it stopped!
