@dookiedifficult@_mkpd He doesn’t, it’s only the external DPM cover.
The helmets outline, chin strap / suspension system is completely different to that of the MK6 / MK6A or the MK7.
Probably one of the many thousands of British surplus equipment in Ukraine / Russia.
@_Zojka@_mkpd Not a MK6, just the DPM cover for it.
The outline of the helmet and chin strap / suspension system are clearly different to either the MK6 or M6A.
@raging545 The helmets with rails are the ‘Updated’ Kolpak helmets. Old SSH-69 steel helmets with a added Aramid / Kevlar interior liner for additional protection
@immenant@SwedishTech_@Remnantize He’s on about the second picture, it’s clearly a G36 however I don’t think the bloke using it is CTSFO, more the likely a SFO who’s also on the exercise. Different kit armour / helmet and uniform compared to the CTSFO, I’d bet he’s a local HO firearms officer or maybe MOD / CNC.
@sc_survey@CheshPolSC Cheshire have seemingly improved massively and are up there with some of the best performing Special Constabulary’s, development and the ability to gather new skills / courses helps with both recruitment and retention, something that other nearby forces struggle with.
@ukteslamad@KieraDiss It’s so they can be visibly identified in crowds, quite easy to lose people when there’s thousands of people walking about and allows them to be more visible if someone requires police assistance.
Borrow a brain cell from your dog.
@ExInspectorBDS@sc_survey@PHjohnb Attitudes like yours belong back in the 70’s. Specials do on a daily basis provide much needed help to forces up and down the country, but if they are not valued, offered development and support they’ll simply leave like they are at the moment in droves.
@ExInspectorBDS@sc_survey@PHjohnb Not really, if people are volunteering and giving up there time without way to be lumbered every shift they do which be frequent or infrequent because of work / life commitments with Constant Watches or Hospital Guards they’ll realise this is shit and leave, value the officers.
