So many smart, nice, thoughtful people who do great work but get completely trampled on because they tell the truth when they were supposed to lie.
A trillion-dollar military running short of missiles after six months tells you what the system actually produces: not strategic endurance, but corporate profit. The Pentagon is less a war economy than a machine for transferring public wealth to private capital.
