@trumanation_ @noimnotmason Batter actually goes straight to home. The 3 base error means the base plus 3. He was headed towards 1st so he gets that one plus three extra. Same as when a ball goes out of play, you get the base you’re headed to, if already running towards it, and then one.

And one reason they went to 1-8 is because the Mavs and Spurs are both in the same division and in the 2000s both were often better than at least one of the other division winners but the division loser couldn’t get higher than the 4 1/
