Excited to be part of @LibraryJournal’s 2024 Class of Movers & Shakers! Surreal to be on the cover of a magazine among so many phenomenal librarians. Humbled to be in the inaugural Ban Battlers category. Congrats to all honorees! ❤️📚 #LJMoversandShakers

See that giant bar all the way to the left? That's how much rural Kentucky stands to lose under the proposed federal Medicaid cuts.
We wouldn't just lose more than any other state, we'd lose around twice as much as any other state.

Kentucky will lose more money if the Medicaid cuts are passed than any other state in America…by a large margin
There is no way this won’t close dozens of rural hospitals in our state. It is going to be awful for the health of people in those communities
Friends, today only, any donation you make to my #DonorsChoose project will be DOUBLED! An amazing way to brighten my students' school year.

Well, you knew this one was coming. In honor of SNL's 50th anniversary, here's Norm's famous monologue where he shits all over the show.
This was a year and a half after he was fired from (or was forced to resign from) SNL. And then the network inexplicably asked him to come back and host. And you knew Norm wasn't going to let the irony of THIS particular moment go by.
Nearly every Norm fan alive knows this clip. Which is good because it's surprisingly hard to find a good video of it online. They almost always get pulled down, chopped up, banished to Tiktok, or scrubbed. But I've written it up for you so now you will always know how it played out.
Happy 50th birthday, SNL. Hope you like crap!

Trump signs an executive order that prevents federal funding from going to schools that require students to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
Trump: That solves that problem
Reporter: Does the Department of Education have to handle that?
Trump: Yes
