The Rape Gang Inquiry report is a political polemic with absolutely no academic or journalistic value whatsoever, other than that it will be seen as a historical curio in years to come. Its key staffers are now all senior restore figures - one of them has just been announced as the Restore candidate for Manchester Mayoral race.

However, its purpose was never to enlighten. Its purpose was only to enrage Restore’s core base: people who think that the countries problems can all be blamed on Muslims.

As a Jewish person myself, I am not blind to the faults of Islamism, which has taken hold in this country in a serious way, and even Islam, which has a historical enmity with Jews. But let’s be clear, as @Ed_Husain pointed out on @triggerpod just this week, the infiltration of our country by the Muslim Brotherhood and similar groups was aided and abetted heavily by our government.

Blaming rape gangs on Muslims has three serious consequences.

1. It silences survivors who are not white / whose rapists were not Muslims. There are MANY of them. Their voices deserve to be heard.

2. It lets our corrupt institutions off the hook. They did not just look the other way, they are PART OF the criminal cartel system that now runs our country.

3. It incites violence against all Asians as a demographic, especially when fortified by policies like ‘deport communities that housed rape gang members’. The inevitable outcome will be civil war, as @DavidBe31099196 has been pointing out for some time now.

Listen to ALL survivors. Start to see the rape gangs for what they really are: a symptom of the corruption that has overtaken our nation, NOT an ‘Islam problem’.

Because it's not an oblique technicality, it goes right to the very heart of what the report got wrong.

In the most simple terms I can manage (at 12:45am):

- County lines are organised crime networks.
- Grooming gangs are organised crime networks.
- The way the report writers use the phrase 'county lines' reveals that they do not know that grooming gangs are crime networks.
- That (frankly unforgivable) ignorance opens the door for them to write an entire report framing grooming gangs as an Islam problem.
- It is not. There are many, many non-Islamic gangs which use the exact same techniques as those described in the survivor testimonies in the report.
- Had the report writers understood the phrase 'county lines' correctly, they would not have been able to reach the conclusion that they reached in this report.
- That's why I bloody laughed.
