Proud to be part of PBHASC 5 star Scotsman review “If Flanders and Swan had ever got filthy they might well have produced something much like Luke Meredith. He is a class act” https://t.co/RTargBtPhC @edfringe#edfringe
As you can see, I lost interest in Twitter somewhat over the last year. Feeling more optimistic about Bluesky so if you follow me over there I promise to be a bit more chatty. Well, more than twice a year anyway. So here goes…

I feel like I’m in a very toxic relationship with Black Cabs. No matter how many times they ignore me or make everything complicated then blame me, I still turn to them when I’m at my lowest ebb.
Another spit in the eye of all those suckers who voted Tory to “protect the NHS”. You want to know where that £350m a week went? All their mates on dodgy contracts.
Tomorrow, a crucial piece of legislation around healthcare will be scrutinised by MPs.
It will happen in a committee room, away from the main chambers, on a whisper.
If it passes, it will worsen the health of the UK population.
Did you know about it? No?

@i_iratus Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond. This could go either way. We’ll save the universe but fifty fifty whether I’ll die. Fortunately also fifty fifty that I’ll come back to life.
@larterlia1874@zarahsultana You might think this anti-boycott bill suits your morals but it would also ban public bodies from making ethical judgements against antisemitism for instance. It is a dangerous law that should not exist in a democracy.
@Edwardaardvark @Garret_Beggan @LizWebsterSBF@hutch__man Renewable energy, like it says The first article is just for July 2023 but even for the whole of 2023 it was predicted in the second article to be over 55%
@Edwardaardvark @Garret_Beggan @LizWebsterSBF@hutch__man Something you’re missing is the long term fall in the UK economy. While other countries are also having a downturn currently, it’s from a higher base level. Of course Tories only ever trumpet the few moments we claw back a few points but it’s one step forward, two back every time
@Edwardaardvark @Garret_Beggan @LizWebsterSBF@hutch__man The effects of Brexit also boosted food prices, interest rates and utility bills. Yes other countries have been affected by the eastern wars but the UK has been hit worse.
@MTVox@terrychristian@Hopeful_Henry@phillycurlywigs Look around you and tell me the state of this country isn’t the result of dreadful management. Every “cut” the Tories made ended up costing us billions more (NHS Reform Act 2012, cutting border force, cutting police, I could go on…).
It's day 19 of my video advent calendar! Back in 2016 I made a video every day to raise money for @RosemereCF - This one saw the return of @mister_meredith
Utility bills across Hospitality have been one of the main reasons for many closures and job losses this year.
If this doesn’t make you angry, I don’t know what will.
