You have to be comfortable with the feeling of being hungry. Once I read that it was triggered by a hormone called Ghrelin and that your body has more than enough to function normally, I just learned to ignore it when at a caloric deficit.

The other thing is that I discovered that the caloric content of some foods was a lot more than I expected. 80 in an apple for example. 90 in a tablespoon of peanut butter!

To add to that, the Quran literally says in Surah Anfal 60 "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allāh and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allāh knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allāh will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged."

They are fine with being called that word.

@BryanHarneyPPS Huh.. this should be common sense. Why then do we typically relax, ot maybe try to wait for a chance to get to guard and then look for a sweep? We should be scrambling to not accept a bad position everytime!

All they do is drills, rolls, eat and sleep. After doing this since childhood, he doesn't have to think about the right move, he's already drilled this a million times before and it comes to him automatically. And because of that, he is free to execute that while keeping most of his focus on the next step and the one after, instead of being totally consumed by for example how to get out of a two on one back take before a rear naked choke clamps down.

@emreoria Surprisingly, removing those rods from bone doesn't hurt at all. It just stings the skin as it bleeds a bit while they're taken out, but the bone itself doesn't feel anything

@kdr44839 @nikicaga I used to shoot with one eye closed because I tried both eyes open and wasn't as accurate asI liked. I gave it another chance and once I got used to ignoring the ghost image from the non-dominant eye, it's actually much better, not just because of the wider field of view.

@escapefrommelos An Italian former manager of mine told me that he considers everyone from Rome southwards "terroni" and that they're not really Italians. He was the nicest guy and a true gentleman, so I don't know what made him form such a strong opinion.
