Yesterday, when I rode in an Über, I encountered a very spiritual moment.
The driver was a young man, jovial and radiating positivity, despite the slow economic environment affecting Über's business.
In the passenger's pouch was a Holy Bible, and I asked him why he was keeping it there.
This is what he told me,
"A month ago, I buried my Father, and this scripture has been my father's voice.
When I wake up in the morning, I read a chapter, and when I return home to my wife and daughter, I read another chapter.
If an Über driver arrives home safely, it is by grace because what we encounter on these roads can be disheartening and heartbreaking.
The scripture has helped me heal from the loss of my Father because every time I read, the scripture echoes my father's voice."
I asked him if he is born-again, and he answered,
"I am not born-again, I am just in sync with my spirituality.
I don't have to be born-again.
My father used to get disappointed when someone introduced themselves as "I am so and so, and I am born-again."
The people who tell us that they are born-again are actually using Christianity to commit sin and immorality.
Your behaviour, habits, words and actions are enough to prove that you are a righteous man living in accordance with spiritual sincerity.
You don't have to tell us because the tongue is deceitful, but the heart is sincere."
I was satisfied with his sentiments.
It was inspirational and memorable.
May all those looking for a spiritual anchor find peace in their lives.
Life is chaotic, unfulfilling, and filled with envy and corruption.
May your lives be inspired with joy and buoyancy.
May your prayers and dreams become fruitful.
Amen!

You probably never knew that, many old West African families have safeguarded private libraries for centuries, preserving a rich tradition of learning and scholarship. In Mauritania, the cities of Chinguetti and Oudane collectively house 3,450 handwritten medieval books. Walata, another ancient city, is believed to hold 6,000 more manuscripts, with some dating back to the 8th century. These collections reflect the intellectual and cultural vibrancy of the region, covering topics like law, astronomy, science, and religion.
In Niger, approximately 11,000 books survive in private collections, further demonstrating the scholarly legacy of West Africa. The most renowned collection is in Timbuktu, Mali, which once served as a global center of learning during the Mali and Songhai empires. Today, an estimated 700,000 manuscripts are preserved there, spanning subjects such as history, medicine, and philosophy.
These manuscripts highlight the scholarly achievements of medieval West Africa, challenging the narrative of a purely oral tradition and emphasizing the region’s role in global intellectual history. Their preservation is a testament to the dedication of families and communities who have safeguarded this knowledge for generations.

🚨 BREAKING: Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announces that schooling for doctors will now include NUTRITION - so doctors can teach their patients how to tackle chronic disease via lifestyle, not drugs.
AMAZING IDEA.
"In the future, doctors won't just prescribe drugs, they'll be able to prescribe diets as well."
"Every future physician should master the language of prevention before they even touch a stethoscope."
"Nearly all medical residents are asked to counsel patients about nutrition, but fewer than a quarter of practicing physicians feel adequately prepared to provide nutrition advice. We can reverse the chronic disease epidemic simply by changing our diets and lifestyles. But to do that, we need nutrition to be a basic part of every doctor's training."
"We'll start by embedding nutrition directly into college pre-med programs and testing it on the MCAT."

You're journaling, meditating, reading 5 books a month… but you're still stuck.
