Need a crumb of hope about Europe on a Saturday?
Belgium has gone from rapidly closing and destroying its entire nuclear fleet (half of its power before 2023) to quickly relicensing and returning a few of them to the grid.
PM @Bart_DeWever is trying to save as many as he can.
België en @ENGIE_energie zijn erin geslaagd de kerncentrales Doel IV en Tihange III in een half jaar volledig te reviseren, alle veiligheidsprocedures te doorlopen en weer op te starten. Terwijl sluiting gepland was.
Dat is een applausje waard, vindt u niet?

The ephemeral cloud. Coming to a theatre near you. Emulated EC2 and S3, but run on an identity-anchored peer-to-peer DWN network. Only the trusted logs in Merkel trees left behind. Think of the use cases. The old internet is broken. But we are at the dawn of the greatest internet generation.
October 2, $RIG at $5.17.
Since then: Brazil cleared the Valaris deal. The banks upsized the revolver to $750 million and offered more than asked. $165 million of 8% notes redeemed. $1.1 billion added to backlog.
October 23, $6.42.
None of it surprised the Substack - Offshore chat. We read each filing the day it came out and said what it meant.
The next one is the Q3 fleet status on November 2.
Updates - 🔜. Shares are getting super cheap here. Happy to buy more, but not banking in a squeeze at this point I’m buying the underlying business and value @abaxx_exchange is building. #29er
@annvandersteel It should work this way. It will work this way. But nothing gets there without willing it into existence. Relentless execution. We’re but one small player committed to the cause. As long as we inch the wold forward, as Web5 did, we’ll have done our job.
🇰🇿 Kazatomprom $KAP puts a #uranium sale to 🇷🇺 Rosatom’s Uranium One back to a vote.
Two weeks ago, 88.34% of the votes abstained: the Kazakh state, about 85% of the vote, sat it out. A 🇨🇳 China deal passed at the same meeting.
Same commercial terms. Count: Dec 10.
No U.S. 8:30 data today, so we head north.

Best month since November, and StatsCan's Sept flash is +0.7%. The Canadian shopper did not get the recession memo.
The beautiful thing with owning Abaxx $ABXX.TO is you get a highly competitive exchange at prices lower than liquidation but you also get the opportunity of owning the next generation internet.
Yes. It’s been built as an actual OS/platform, where the SSO and multi-factor security use cases are actually the easiest first installation (and eventual 3rd party sale). That’s already working for a year+ in Abaxx Exchange and has clients operating and more in progress (Exchange, Minehub, ArtEx etc). And once the IDAM and data security model is in place with the MarketOS licence, the SaaS applications (drive, sign. Messenger, Attest etc) are easy add ons, and then business applications (digital title etc) then sit on top of those workflow tools.

Toys still aren't just for kids.
Moved my entire portfolio to cash today aside from a bit of $GDXU and $ABXX
It’s not the time to be a hero.
The orange man has made markets completely uninvestable.
Stay safe out there retards.

When our industry talks about future copper demand we focus on the topics of global data centre buildout, Chinese industrial output, government stockpiling, rearmament and defence … However, we forget about the silent, rapid urbanisation of India as a major source of demand.
According to the Government of India’s Vision Document on Copper (interesting read, link below 👇), they expect domestic copper demand to more than double in the next 10 years to 4-5 million tonnes per annum… and then double again in the following 10 years to 9-10 million tonnes per annum.
India produced less than 30,000 tonnes of primary copper supply last year… and there is very little chance that domestic supply can increase to meet the RAPID growth in projected domestic demand. To quote a statistic in the Vision Document; “India copper concentrate imports are expects to reach 91%-97% by 2047.”
That's ONE new Kamoa-Kakula EVERY YEAR for the NEXT 20 YEARS.... just for India's consumption. Where is this copper coming from?

China’s copper cathode premium soared to an all time record high of $158 per tonne today.
At a time when the market is questioning copper demand linked to AI capex deployment, the world’s largest copper consuming economy, BY A MILE, is signaling that it is starving for material. With the majority of global exchange stocks sitting in the US, China is sending an extremely strong signal of tight physical availability, showing it is willing to pay up to ensure metal is brought into the country.
