By the Webster dictionary definition the solar system is “the sun together with the group of celestial bodies that are held by its attraction and revolve around it.” So Genesis 1 describes the Sun and Moon which are a part of the solar system.

Grok makes a very important point though that the Bible is not intended to be an astronomy textbook and I would argue is about much more important subjects like the origin and purpose of life, sin, salvation.
