@HofmanCaitlin Sounds like a great idea! Check out 'EdNCES' for a free online graph creator! A fun and engaging way for students to display their data and results
@HofmanCaitlin The only struggle we have is getting them to eat it. I've found in some schools they offer both 'breakfast clubs' as well as 'Crunch and Sip' times to give children extra opportunity for healthy food intake.
@HofmanCaitlin School gardens provide such a rich learning environment for students! Whether it be lessons on science, maths, geography and even creative arts, there is so much room for potential lessons. Hands on experiences are always a great way to learn.
@HofmanCaitlin Minecraft has been a hit recently amongst students. This looks like a really fun and engaging way to get students who may not enjoy the outdoors as much as others thinking about the concept and getting Digitally involved.
@HofmanCaitlin So many areas with the potential for integration. I believe that where ever possible educators should be incorporating elements of these SDG's into their lessons to give students the most exposure to positive health as they can receive!
@HofmanCaitlin Always great to incorporate ICT in the classroom for student engagement. Nothing wrong with a bit of 'healthy' competition amongst the students either! Nice find!
@HofmanCaitlin Great resource Caitlin! It is very important to ensure there is a holistic approach to health and not just physical. As educators it is essential for us to lead by example as well!
Thank you for sharing this information Lucy ! The article very informative and I would highly to other educators planning a stage 3 setting using #SDG14.

Have a read of this article. Itโs very informative and educational. It addresses plastic and how it affects our oceans. Great resource for the classroom. #SDG#SDG14#lifebelowwater https://t.co/IGQRWOMoCE
These teaching resources provide a great in-depth approach to the Sustainable Development Goals! The website lists numerous classroom resources and teach practices to imbed within your lessons. Great find @LandersCurtis#UoNTeach#Educ4750
Check out this website! There is so many valuable teaching resources here for #sdg14
This resource could be used for many other sustainable development goals as well. #UoNTeach#Educ4750

I never thought about this! The amount of fruit that is consumed in schools, especially those who participate in #CrunchandSip, is quite a large amount. If these issues were addressed then we may reduce the pollution effect on our environments! #Educ4750#UonTeach#SDG14
@LandersCurtis You are spot on with these resources! I am also doing SDG14 and found a number of excellent lessons ideas and techniques to embed into my unit plan!
@RattrayTia It is really great to be able to see students being actively involved in a great cause! This march would have provided the students with a first hand learning experience of the issues at hand.
@kurt_eckmann Couldn't have said it better myself. Students are the future of tomorrow and anything I can do to help further their learning I'm open to trying! Keep up the great work!
Looks like you've covered all basis here @kurt_eckmann. Throughout my planning I forgot the power using more than one pedagogical theory could have. I will have to reassess and incorporate more for increased learning opportunities! #EDUC4750#UoNTeach
De Bono's Thinking Hats is a great strategy that is useful in Stage 3 to promote higher-order thinking. I will also use TPACK and Gardner's multiple intelligences when constructing a research task, to allow all students the greatest chance at success. #Educ4750#UoNTeach
If anyone needs some artistic inspiration the pieces displayed at the @NMNH are amazing! I plan to use these works of art as stimuli when integrating Creative Arts into our Unit. #SDG14#UoNTeach#Educ4750

@kurt_eckmann As fellow educators have discussed above, the way students connect with their learning is essential in understanding and developing ideas. I'm focussing on student engagement with their tasks which could definitely be achieved using these theories!
