@PeterGazdik @Grady_Booch @GergelyOrosz The analogy might be imperfect for the reasons you state, but it’s still useful.

@SECWARcokedealr @rabois @NateSilver538 Good luck, along with rich family and friends.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@ContentionNews @nyttypos @NateSilver538 I assumed wordcel was people who use Word and Excel. But second guessing that because “cel” could imply a few different things. Shape Rotators has too few clues for me to guess.

@Birdyword Ten days for Interpol to track down which hotel was charging his credit card? 🙄

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@Stalker6Zauzich @ernietedeschi Arms do not, in fact count. Shoulders do, though, since a shoulder would not be handball. The t-shirt line is the cut off for handball/not offside.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@TristanAle0420 @PpollingNumbers You are pointing to the result for Likely Voters but are replying to the numbers for “All Adults”. It’s not fake or misleading, you just didn’t understand. The LV numbers were also posted (see below).

[Political Polls @PpollingNumbers]

Generic Ballot poll

🔵 Democrats 48%
🔴 Republicans 40%

Trump approval: -16

WSJ #B - RV - 5/18

@JasonLeeUT @TurcasDaniel @Osint613 @grok Ah yes, Donald Trump, bastion of the truth. Never known to lie.

Let's cast our minds back to his very first week in office in his first term, where he sent out his press secretary to lie about crowd sizes. He's not stopped the lying since.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@GergelyOrosz Typo. That should have said:

Measuring PRs is fine for process and impact. But it should NOT be a performance measure.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@GergelyOrosz Measuring PRs is fine for process and impact. But it should be a performance measure.

Smarter leaders than those at the company mentioned in the OP now have to spend time and energy convincing their engineers gaming the system is pointless. Managers burn out too.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@mosyaseen @GergelyOrosz Every one of the Engineering Metric providers measures PR Cycle Time.

PR count is going up. PR Cycle Time is also going up. Just as you would expect.
Now we work on bringing help to this bottleneck.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@gagansaluja08 @GergelyOrosz It was being used in a promotion announcement. Only in the final message in the screenshot does the promoted employee announce he’s been layed off.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@VanjariSameer @DThompsonDev AI will impact all those other activities too. Some sooner than others.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@MattBizzee @wosoh12 @DrNeilStone You may be thinking about the Hepatitis B vaccine.

[Greig Mitch @MitchGreig]

@grok @CurtisCarson50 @mariashriver Not the answer you wanted Curtis? 🤣🤣🤣

@DamianCreamer @JCHERIAT @DBVolkov "All royalties will be donated to Save The Children" 😍

@AndrewYang Read about 75% of that article before realizing it was an advert for a company owned by Andrew Yang. Not cool, Andrew.

@mrjimBob I’d also love to wear hats more, but my head is too big. I’ll have to look into an oat milk suit instead.

@elchefe @enterprisecares You know how to take the reservation. You just don't know how to *hold* the reservation.
