@chrismitch99@Big_Jim__Larkin@andyelvers@BBCTomEdwards ...I'd rather ride in a train without an exhausted driver, and I don't mind if someone far richer than me is taxed more to cover it.
I refuse to believe boots just taste that nice my guy
@AndrewCurtois None of Labour's policies are socialist and you have no idea what socialism is and it's a giant relief to know that five years from now you will have no influence and no power and no one will be listening to you or caring what you think or say
@KeighleyWest@oiltraderlondon@LBC@jhansonradio You said the Royal Family are required to work. They're not. That's *why* they're not working class.
If they really were required to *work*, and would be unable to comfortably survive otherwise, then yeah, they would be working class. It's just that that would never happen
@BexleyheathTory Wait, really? Are you all just, like, really terrible at doing good things then?
You can't even get the sun to come out for a decent pic...
@TwofeetgoodSE21@betterstreetswd@AirCroxted But... you won't advocate for widening residential roads, or correctly signposting them, or doing anything to actually equalise traffic levels.
So... how is your position any better by your own metric?
@gameloverblake@geniusman16@jthysell @Pinko69420 (my grand theory here is that "canon disrespect" is a way people express their frustrations at decisions taken in TLJ (or any story), not because 'canon is broken' by them, but because they don't think the film is worth the effort required to 'put them into the canon')
@gameloverblake@geniusman16@jthysell @Pinko69420 To me Poe is a blank slate in TFA, so TLJ gets to 'decide' what kind of person he is. Without saying whether it's *good*, I think they chose something *consistent*, so my q is: do you disagree? Or was it just that the decision bothered you for other reasons (which is fine)?
