@dekker ESPN (and a lot of sports media tbf) truly does not care if its not football or the NBA. Saquon Barkley made waves last year for a wild play but crazy stuff in baseball, hockey and everything else gets almost completely ignored.
@GPLapsJake We've been spoiled with great 500s this decade so this year's felt a little underwhelming in comparison. Not a bad race, just an "okay" one.
@LBreitschopf56 HMS had at least one car in the Champ 4 every year since 2020 and at *least* 3 of the last 4 seasons the best driver wire-to-wire drove for HMS. If Penske didn't have Phoenix figured out this is probably considered the best HMS lineup since Jimmie & Jeff raced together
@membersonlydave@ByTimReynolds A team 3 games outside the top 8 (which is already over half of the conference) really shouldn't be in the playoffs just cause they won 2 one-off games at the end of the year. The body of work should matter!
@alan__s66@foemonkey1@T3Bracketology People remember Loyola Chicago and UMBC more than 2018 Nova. People remember UCLA's buzzer beater more than 2021 Baylor. People remember UNC/Duke more than 2022 Kansas. If anything March Madness is the one sports playoff that proves this wrong!
@T_Hosh If the whole season is based on a win-and-in system then the risk you take in blatantly cleaning the leader out is well worth the potential consequences. Not to take away blame from the individual but would this happen so often without win-and-in?
