@levie What would you say the role of product is in agent design vs eng vs data science? Lines are blurry now, which is okay, but curious if you're seeing an effective pattern emerge.
There are some great companies that do this today like @CitizenHealthX and @PicnicHealth. I worked in product at both. Their focus is more so in smaller indications (e.g., rare diseases) plus some oncology where it's easier to get to the critical mass of patients needed to power meaningful observational studies. Some pharma companies use this data to supplement regulatory submissions while others provide information that helps design better clinical trials (e.g., what endpoints are most meaningful). In other cases, patient advocacy groups can use the data to get the attention of pharma. The power of this model is that patient consent enables them to retrieve all of a patient's medical records across all their providers. This can be supplemented with surveys for patient reporter outcomes and wearables. Patients benefit massively from this by gaining access to all their data and being in control of who can use it.
Pharma has also worked with a number of vendors for the last decade to mine social media data. I've never seen something meaningful come from this though.
All that said, there is still a gap today for some kind of platform that builds on top of existing socials that allows patients to self organize and generate these types of reports themselves. For new entrants it's virtually impossible to solve the patient acquisition problem so if there was a way to build on top of existing social media rails that could work. Otherwise, @OpenAI might be the only company with the distribution and capabilities needed to build a patient directed healthcare platform at scale today. Especially with all of the tailwinds that are converging now around patient access to data.
@skirano The desirable UX skill has shifted back to graphic design. AI will eventually catch up but for now at least, being able to stand out from 10M+ shadcn apps about to launch will be an advantage.
@lennysan 1) how is resource allocation determined across a product portfolio (ie cross product prioritization)
2) how does the operating system and delivery processes change as a product goes from pre product market fit (0 to 1), 1 to 10, 10 to 100 etc.
Most PMs haven't scratched the surface of using LLMs.
I've spent >100 hours creating:
🔹 Guides of advanced ChatGPT features
🔹 50+ powerful PM MEGAprompts
🔹 Comparison of major LLMs
I'll sell it for $89.
For the next 24h: 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲!
Follow + RT + comment "LLM" → I'll DM it.
@lisabari@onemedical Had a similar experience recently. Had the same visit I've had countless times in the past that didn't cost me anything. Now it was $100 oop
This is Xiongan Smart City.
At 2,000SQ KM 🤯 3x the area of New York City (783 SQ KM) It's set to open next month.
Announced just back in 2017, the city is already opening up it's new residential areas next month. With the city CBD opening up just 1 month later.
In the west, these mega constructions are hard to comprehend.
Its master design plan is by Skidmore Owings & Merrill. It must be absolutely insane to be working at a city scale project like this.
What are your thoughts on Mega Smart City project like this?
@balajis Hard to realize you're putting money into a risky investment if the yield is 0.0001%. Their argument maybe held more water back in the day when banks offered much higher interest rates. But even then probably not.
@shreyas If the urgency behind hitting the dates on your roadmap starts to go down significantly. Could be a sign that your product line is getting axed.
