my fyp lately has been filled with contents about fanfic writing and reading and after seeing so many of them i can conclude that everyone has wildly different, super specific, and oftentimes contradicting fic preferences so i think authors should just do whatever tf they want
My fic writing hot take is that everyone is asking the wrong question when it comes to characterization. "Would he say that?" is only part of it. What you really should be asking is, "What would happen to make him say that?" There lies the real joy of writing fanfiction

I guess some writers do use AI to “streamline” their research and writing process… well, I prefer to get lost in 150+ open tabs and have those ideas occupy and torment my headspace until I unexpectedly reach a breakthrough in a shower or on a walk.
