It’s also interesting that Ticketmaster claims artists can turn ticket transfers off for specific sections. This means that artists absolutely have the ability to prevent $50 nosebleed obstructed tickets from inflating to over 900% their original face value price.

@erastourticks The artist has control to stop this. The Foo Fighters did for their last concert: no transfers, and only even exchange when reselling through TM!

Doing a little deep dive, and here is a presumable reseller in a stubhub forum talking about how non-transferable tickets are too much of a hassle. There ARE ways to get tickets to real fans at face value. Artists just have to want that to happen.

@kristensversi0n @Ticketmaster There needs to be some sort of time limit. Resellers have until day of the show to resell. If they don’t, the tickets revert back to the venue, and real fans can buy at the door.

I've tried to join queues with two different accounts for both Nola and Indy. My Nola account was waitlisted but not able to join the queue, and my Indy account was waitlisted and IS able to join the queue. I have a few theories, but I'm curious what others are experiencing.

@swiftieswanttix Currently the pages are showing the map and letting me toggle quantities, but there doesn't appear to be anything available. If I refresh, it's the same thing. Is this a, dare I say, glitch?

@erastourticketz @Ticketmaster @Ticketmaster @TMFanSupport It should not be this difficult to get face value tickets to see your favorite artist. The waitlist feels like the biggest scam ever, designed to temporarily give people hope/staunch the outrage without actually providing a real solution.
