ONCE AND FOR ALL: Burning a flag you own is protected expression. That includes American flags & rainbow flags.

You cannot, however, break into an elementary school, steal their property, and burn it. That is a crime. This should not be a hard distinction to understand.

According to his 2022 annual statement of economic interest, Minneapolis Community Safety Commissioner Cedric Alexander owns at least a $10,000 ownership stake in Shotspotter. The company provides gunshot detection services to police departments including MPD, which he oversees.
