One of my consistent prayers: May I never forget You, Lord, when my desires are fulfilled.
May I remain devoted to my place of prayer even after my prayers are answered.
May I not lose my closeness to You when I finally have it all.🙏🙏🙏

If You Are Earning 200k to 300k, This Is What You Should Do
If you are in that 200k to 300k monthly income range, you are in a very sensitive phase of life. You are not poor, but you are not financially free either. You are in the middle. And the middle is where many people get stuck for years without knowing.
This is the stage where money can quietly pass through your hands and leave you with nothing to show for it. So you must become intentional.
The first thing is to stabilise your life. Make sure your rent, feeding, transportation, and basic bills are under control. If your rent is swallowing three to six months of your salary, you are living above your level. Reduce the pressure. Peace of mind is wealth.
Next, become allergic to lifestyle traps. This is not the time to compete with anybody. Avoid impulsive spending, designer addictions, partying every weekend, or buying everything you see online. At this income level, discipline determines your future.
Now, make savings automatic. Treat saving like a bill. Once your salary drops, a part of it should leave your account immediately. Not when you feel like. Not when you remember. Automatically. Even if it is 20% to 30%, consistency will shock you.
But saving alone is not the goal. The real goal is to build assets and skills. Start investing small but steady. Mutual funds, treasury bills, reliable fintech savings plans, index funds, land contributions, or a side business you understand. The amount is not the magic. The habit is.
Then upgrade your brain. This is the stage to buy courses, attend trainings, and improve your earning power. Data analytics, tech, product, cybersecurity, marketing, design, sales, certifications, anything that makes you more valuable. The easiest way to escape this income bracket is not by saving alone. It is by becoming too skilled to be paid small.
Keep your circle healthy. Spend time with people talking growth, not gossip. One good connection can change your career. Network intentionally, not desperately.
Also, take care of your health. Do your checkups, eat better, sleep, exercise, money means nothing if your body breaks down.
And please, help your family if you can, but do not destroy your future trying to look like a hero. Set boundaries. You cannot rescue others by drowning yourself.
Finally, avoid pressure. Some people earned 50k for years before rising. Someone else got to 1 million monthly by 27. Life is not a race. Focus on direction, not speed. If you stay disciplined, keep learning, keep investing, and avoid lifestyle traps, this income level will only be a phase, not your final destination.
Build quietly & your future self will thank you.
Many nurses I met here in the uk were the one financing their home for the first few years of their relocation.
These are people who did not pay rent while in Nigeria.
These are people whose husbands were engineers, doctors, Lecturers in Nigeria but after relocation had to do menial jobs ti sustain the family.
The idea of “50/50 in marriage” sounds fair, modern, and balanced, but in real life, it’s one of the biggest fallacies we keep spreading.
Marriage has never worked on perfect arithmetic. It works on capacity, season, and sacrifice…not percentages.
Some days one partner will give 80 while the other gives 20.
Some seasons, one person will be strong, and the other will be fighting silent battles.
Some moments, one will carry the emotional weight, financial burden, or household responsibilities because the other is simply drained.
And that’s not failure.
That is marriage.
The truth is simple: no human being can wake up every day and contribute exactly “50.” People get tired. People get sick. People break down emotionally. People lose jobs. Life shifts. Energy fluctuates.
A healthy marriage is not two people calculating what the other has done, it is two people who are committed to showing up fully in whatever capacity they have each day.
Today you may carry your partner.
Tomorrow they may carry you.
Balance is achieved over time, not in one moment.
And here’s another reality people avoid:
Sometimes the person who is giving “30” is actually giving 100% of what they have in that season. And the partner giving “70” also gives because they can at that moment. That is partnership, not exploitation.
The people who survive marriage long-term understand one thing clearly:
Marriage is not 50/50. Marriage is 100/100.
Two people committed to giving their best, not an equal fraction, but a full effort according to their ability, their health, their season, and their reality.
When you insist on 50/50, you reduce marriage to a business contract.
When you understand 100/100, you embrace marriage as a covenant, a daily decision to love, support, and show up.
Some days you will be the one lifting.
Some days you will be the one leaning.
And that is perfectly fine.
Anyone who wants a mathematical marriage will never experience a meaningful one. Love has never been about counting. It has always been about giving.
@RemainAnonK@Ariannnyy_ Traditionally, men value the role of taking initiative in relationships, and many men see proposing as a responsibility that strengthens their sense of commitment. A lot of women who propose later feel unappreciated or regret it,especially if the man wasn’t ready.
Why are you naive enough @RepRileyMoore to think that the Islamic government of Nigeria is actually going to take steps to protect Christians?
Muslims are commanded in the Quran to kill non-Muslims who they view as cattle.
Nigeria has a Muslim President.
You keep talking about how you want to save Christians, but you won’t address the root of the problem.
Islam.
Nothing will change till our GOP lawmakers aren’t bought and paid for by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other rich Arabs and they actually start speaking truth about Islam and how Islam is a supremacist ideology that calls for all non-Muslims to convert or be killed.
I’m tired of the grand standing.
If you won’t speak about Islam, then just stop now because you won’t get anywhere.
Grave Miscarriage of justice against Sunday Jackson
This is Mr. Sunday Jackson, from Adamawa State. On March 7, 2025, the highest Court in Nigeria sentenced him to death by hanging for disarming and k!ll!ng a fulani terrorist who attacked him in his own farm.
In 2015, Jackson, a 29-year-old farmer and student from Dong Community in Demsa LGA of Adamawa, was working on his farm in Kodomti Community, Numan LGA when Buba Ardo Bawuro, a herdsman, herded his cattle into his farm to feed on his crops.
Jackson challenged him but the herdsman pulled out a knife and attacked him twice.
Although wounded, Jackson was able to seize the knife and stab him in return. Bawuro later died from his wounds.
The police arrested and tried the farmer with culpable homicide in Yola High Court. The charge carried a death sentence under Section 211 of the penal code.
He was subsequently sentenced to death by hanging by the lower court.
He appealed to the Court of Appeal and later the Supreme Court, but the death sentence was upheld.
This ruling sets a dangerous precedent that undermines self-defence claims in similar situations, sending a chilling message to those who might defend their livelihoods.
Justice System Critique.
This case reveals systemic biases and inadequate legal representation, raising serious concerns about the integrity of Nigeria’s judicial process.
Funke Adeoye, the founder of Hope Behind Bars, the prison reform non-governmental organisation which provided legal aid to Jackson, confirmed that one of the judges had dismissed the charges against him but he was convicted based on the confessional statement he wrote without the help of a lawyer.
Jackson’s case has attracted national and international attention. Civil society organisations say that his conviction did not consider mitigating circumstances.
The Nigerian public has also been keen on the case. A petition on that has now reached 70,000 signatures appeals that Jackson be granted a presidential pardon.
Sunday has now spent 9 years in custody for an act of survival.
