It always beats my brain that Nigeria has a dedicated national programme & budget to fund the rehabilitation of terrorists but has nothing dedicated for the victims of the terrorists who are traumatized for life.
🚨Government must explain how thousands of foreign-owned businesses are operating across South Africa when only 33 business visas have been approved during the most recent financial year and just 204 over the past five years. https://t.co/IwEjciaWbL

Some Nigerians are angry at this book by Carlos Barragan, as if they did not spend decades glorifying internet fraud in their songs, movies, cultures and communities. As if there aren't well known and respected celebrities who are known internet fraudsters. As if these fraudsters don't almost run night life in cities like Lagos. As if the language of internet fraud is not very common among young people in many places. As if Nigerians did not sing gleefully alongside Nkem Owoh when he sang: "419 no be thief, it's just a game, everybody day play am, if anybody fall mugu, my brother I go chop am.... Oyibo man I go chop your dollar, I go take your money disappear...you are the mugu, I am the master."
Just two weeks ago South Africa donated 2.5 million dollars to DRC for their fight against Ebola. Only African country to have done that so far actually.
But here we are branded as the prime enemies of Pan Africanism whilst the kings of Pan Africanism haven't even donated a Single cent or sent any form of help. We have our problems yes and challenges of xenophobia but Africa collectively must not act they themselves are models of solidarity in tough times.
