We saw it in the Henry Nowak case - police seemingly more obsessed with race and narratives than a British teen bleeding out from stab wounds. We’re seeing it everywhere now. And here’s yet another blatant example of police getting their priorities completely, disgustingly wrong.

A British woman is harassed and spat on in broad daylight by a migrant. Her “crime”? Responding in raw, justified anger and describing her attacker exactly as his actions showed: a filthy migrant.

Instead of cuffing the spitter for assault, officers swarm the victim and lecture her on her language.

Woman (distraught): “You have a problem with my words? A filthy migrant just spat at me and you’ve got the issue with me?”

Police: “We can’t not challenge that language… I find your language offensive and we have to challenge you… because it’s the law.”

What an utter joke.

She’s physically assaulted - spit in her face - yet the real emergency for UK police is “hate speech”. The migrant walks away free while the victim is treated like the criminal for noticing who attacked her.

This is two-tier policing in its purest, most repulsive form: British citizens attacked in their own country, then scolded by the police for daring to describe the reality in front of them.

When someone spits on you but your choice of words is the “real crime”… Britain has officially lost the plot.

BREAKING: LAPD fatally shot a family doodle named Jameson during a Knicks championship celebration.

No warning. No de-escalation. Just a family dog killed right in front of them.

Here’s what happened and my animal lawyer POV:

Two-year-old doodle Jameson was wearing his Knicks shirt and cheering with his family, a mom and son, inside their Canoga Park condo when a neighbor called 911 and reported yelling and possible domestic violence.

A group of officers responded and directed Jameson’s mom, Marie, to put Jameson away. She complied, but Jameson got out, and an officer shot him.

Marie told reporters Jameson was not aggressive. He was not barking, bearing his teeth, or growling.

LAPD says Jameson rushed at officers. Marie’s son told reporters his mother had just been celebrating and that Jameson was energetic, but not violent.

No warning. No de-escalation. Just a family dog killed right in front of them.

I’m Vanessa. I’m an animal lawyer, and when a cop kills a pet, legally speaking, we’re talking about a seizure of property under the Fourth Amendment.

And, TLDR, that seizure has to be reasonable.

The question courts ask is: given everything the officer knew in that moment, was shooting this dog reasonable?

LAPD says the dog rushed at them. The family says he was energetic but not aggressive.

That factual dispute is exactly what a lawsuit would likely be built around.

No lawsuit has been filed yet.
